Looking for things to do in Bay Area to kick off the summer? From rock tribute concerts to turtle races, check out these seven events happening around League City, Webster and Kemah in May and June. This list is not comprehensive. Events are subject to change.
Rock the Dock concert series
Kemah Boardwalk hosts this summer series of concerts on Thursday nights. Rain or shine, attendees will hear the music from tribute bands celebrating groups such as AC/DC, Queen and Maroon 5.
Crafters between ages 12-18 years old can visit Helen Hall library in League City for a relaxing and inspiring session of needlework, beadwork and jewelry making. There will be no formal instruction but beginners are welcome. Participants must bring their own materials and tools.

Night Market
This vendor market will take over Galveston Bay Brewing at the end of May. Over 30 vendors will be selling products, including jewelry, home decor, baked goods and candles. The full menu for the restaurant will be available.
This event will celebrate over 100 artists and the history of League City. It will take place across three blocks within the city’s downtown historic district between League Park and the League City Historical Society Museum, and feature live music, artists at work, and local food and drinks.
