Christmas in September

This artisan market at the Friendswood Activity Building offers two days of holiday shopping. Attendees can find crafts, jewelry, candles, toys and food trucks on-site at the event.Brew at the Zoo

The Houston Zoo hosts this event for ages 21 and up. Attendees can experience the new Birds of the World exhibit that opened Labor Day weekend, hear live music and enjoy beer tasting from several popular breweries.2024 Hot Wheels Legends Tour

Known as the largest traveling car show, the Hot Wheels Legends will feature over 100 vehicles to be examined and judged by Hot Wheels judges at a local Walmart Supercenter. The event will also feature play spaces for kids to interact with the Hot Wheels toys.

Hispanic Heritage Celebration

The Children's Museum Houston is celebrating Hispanic heritage with performances and activities including piñata decorating, a weaving workshop, story time with Univision and a mariachi performance.

Historic American military aviation will be presented by the Commemorative Air Force with an event featuring four vintage warbirds at David Wayne Hooks Airport. The public is invited to tour or to take a flight in one of the historic air crafts. Flights start at $150 and can be booked online.Fall Fun Day

Edwards Family Entertainment is holding a fundraising event at B-52 Brewing featuring vendors, food, drawings and brews to benefit Autism Meets Faith, an organization that provides support to families with autistic children.Patriots of Texas Cook-Off and Music Festival

American Veterans Motorcycle Club, Affiliates MC, Fallen Saints MC and the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association are raising funds to build a monument at the Houston National Cemetery in recognition of those who have lost a family member in service to their country. This fundraiser features a concert, silent auction and food trucks and will be held at 403 EATS.El Grito at Miller

The Miller Outdoor Theatre is celebrating Mexico’s Independence Day with an event featuring Caña Dulce and Caña Brava. The performers will exhibit the music, poetry, dance and traditional attire of Veracruz, Mexico.
