Concerts in the Park

H-E-B presents a series of live music shows at Independence Park every Friday night in June. Attendees can hear country, classic rock and '80s hits while shopping with local food vendors. Kids can also play at the park’s playground. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and picnic baskets to enjoy the shows.Author Visit with Meena Julapalli

The Woodlands Children's Museum will hold an author visit with Meena Julapalli, who will read “Listen to the Song in My Heart.” The event will be followed by a book signing, and meet and greet.Houston Pride Celebration Festival & Parade

The 46th annual city of Houston LGBTQ+ Pride festival and celebration takes place downtown. This official city celebration is the oldest and largest celebration in Texas, according to the event site. The event will feature live performances by K. Michelle, Brooke Eden, David Archuleta and Kayla G.

The Boardwalk Towne Lake blood drive
