200th anniversary rodeoThe George Ranch historical park brings in its 200th anniversary this year and will celebrate with a two-day rodeo event with food trucks, games and activities. Proceeds from the event will fund youth education and support local teachers and schools.
Party at the PavilionThe city of Bellaire hosts its monthly outdoor concert, this month featuring Garth Brooks tribute band Outside the Fire. Personal coolers are allowed, and food from Lankford's Bellaire outpost will be on-site for purchase.

May The 4th Be With YouCentral Green Park, located at the LaCenterra shopping center, will host a Star Wars-themed event with comic book booths, character mascots, local science fiction authors, a gaming trailer and a light saber fight demonstration.
Open Water Swim DayThe Woodlands Township is offering an open-water swimming practice event. Participants will be able to swim the course as much as needed during the allotted time period with the Red Cross Certified Lifeguards and The Woodlands Fire Department on-site.
St. Matthias Catholic Church annual BazaarSt. Matthias Catholic Church’s 47th annual Bazaar will feature a dance held on Saturday night with music provided by The Lonely Road Band. The festivities will continue on Sunday with loteria; games; inflatables; a live and silent auction; a variety of Mexican food options, including a barbecue dinner; and live music.

Youth Sprint TriathlonThe city of Jersey Village hosts a youth triathlon, which combines swimming, biking and running in one competition for ages 7-14. Registrants will receive a T-shirt and medal.
Pickleball TournamentSocial services organization Bay Area Turning Point hosts this first-ever competition between 36 two-person teams at the Webster Chicken N Pickle venue. For all participants, tickets are for food, drinks and games, such as giant Jenga, Battleship, ping-pong and cornhole. There will be prizes for the first-, second- and third-place winners.
