June 17: Concerts in the Park Pearland

The city of Pearland will host Concerts in the Park at Independence Park each Friday in June, according to the Pearland Parks and Recreation department. Each Friday will see a different theme on the stage from a tribute to The Beatles night to country music. Food vendors will be on-site, and the playground will be available for the children to use. June 17: Concerts in the Park Friendswood

Similar to the city’s neighbors in the west, Friendswood each Friday in June will host its own version of Concerts in the Park at the gazebo at Stevenson Park. Events will take place on June 3, and the theme will be a '70s rock experience; on June 10, the theme is Tejano and Latin music; June 17 will be a Guns N' Roses tribute; and an Eagles tribute will take place on June 24. All concerts are open to the public, and residents are encouraged to bring blankets, food, lawn chairs and drinks.
