The city of Pearland will host Concerts in the Park at Independence Park each Friday in June, according to the Pearland Parks and Recreation department. Each Friday will see a different theme on the stage from a tribute to The Beatles night to country music. Food vendors will be on-site, and the playground will be available for the children to use. Similar to the city’s neighbors in the west, Friendswood each Friday in June will host its own version of Concerts in the Park at the gazebo at Stevenson Park.
