On Sept. 28, League City will host a fall sweep cleanup at the Kilgore-Davis Park property. The undeveloped park land is located at the end of Kansas Avenue near Clear Creek and across from Fairview Cemetery, 7th N. Kansas Ave., League City.
The city will provide cleanup supplies, and those who attend will receive a “Keep League City Beautiful” t-shirt, according to a Sept. 2 news flash from the city.
Those interested in volunteering with the cleanup can do so through a survey the city created.
What else?
In the news release, the city said it hopes to maintain its gold-level status as a Keep Texas Beautiful affiliate—a distinction it earned in 2024.
