With nearly all precincts reporting, Fred Flickinger has won the race for Houston City Council District E.
Flickinger has 14,883 votes, or 56.95% of the total. Challenger Martina Lemond Dixon garnered 11,249 votes, or 43.05% of the total.

With 150 of 701 Harris County precincts and 37 of 57 of Montgomery County precincts reporting, Fred Flickinger maintains a strong lead over Martina Lemond Dixon for Houston City Council District E.
Flickinger has 9,969 votes, or 58% of the total. Dixon has 7,219, or 42%.
