With 283 of 283 precincts reporting, U.S. Rep. Brian Babin, R-Woodville, has won re-election to the 36th Congressional District with 233 of 283 precincts reporting.

Babin has received 69.56%, or 144,910 votes. Democratic challenger Jon Haire received 30.44%, or 63,414 votes.

According to unofficial results, U.S. Rep. Brian Babin, R-Woodville, has won re-election to the 36th Congressional District with 233 of 283 precincts reporting.

Babin has received 69.61%, or 144,597 votes. Democratic challenger Jon Haire received 30.39%, or 63,130 votes.

Babin has received 69.96% of the votes, or 104,476 votes. Democratic challenger Jon Haire has received 30.04% of the vote, or 44,863 votes.

U.S. Rep. Brian Babin, R-Woodville, has the lead in early voting by 18,482 votes for re-election to the 36th Congressional District.

Babin has received 62.18% of the votes, or 47,182 votes. Democratic challenger Jon Haire has received 37.82% of the votes, or 28,700 votes.


The 36th District contains Chambers, Hardin, Jasper, Liberty, Newton, Orange, Polk and Tyler counties as well as parts of southeastern Harris County.
