With all Harris County precincts reporting, one candidate has won and others could head to a runoff in the May 7 election for Nassau Bay City Council positions.
For Position 2, Lucie Johannes Sommer maintains a lead with 506 votes, or 50.7% of the total votes. Bob Wilkinson has 368 votes, or 36.7%, and Michelle Micheli has gathered 53 votes, or 12.5%.
If Sommer does not maintain at least 50% of the votes after mail-in ballots are counted, she will face Wilkinson in a runoff, tentatively scheduled for June 18.
For Position 4, James Abbey and John P. Mahon will head to a runoff June 18. Abbey gathered 454 votes, or 45.6% of the total votes. Mahon gathered 414 votes, or 41.6% of the total. Charles Pulliam got 55 votes, or 11.5% of the total.
For Position 6, Michelle Weller has defeated incumbent Matt Prior. Weller received 518 votes, or 52.1% of the total votes, and Prior got 477 votes, or 47.9%.
"I ran on the fact that we wanted to do better development in the neighborhood," Weller said, noting she and others want the city monument installed near the Hilton hotel taken down. "I have a lot of hope for Nassau Bay ... to make our city even better than it already is.”

Correction: This story previously called winners and runoffs for the May 7 election. As only 452 of 465 Harris County voting centers are reporting as of 9 a.m. May 8, it's too early to call. The article was updated to reflect this and later updated with the final results
