Incumbent Ken Clark has won the Republican primary election for Galveston County Precinct 4 commissioner, according to unofficial election results from Galveston County.
As of March 3, all precincts in Galveston County were reporting their election results.
Clark has received 4,707 votes, or 67.58% of the votes. Opponent Matt Robinson received 2,258 votes, or 32.42% of the votes.
Results are still considered unofficial until they are canvassed and certified by the county clerk in the coming days.

A new Galveston County election update reported more votes and still shows incumbent Ken Clark as the potential winner with 4,707 votes, or 67.58% of the votes.
Opponent Matt Robinson has 2,258 votes or 32.42% of the votes.

Unofficial results show that incumbent Ken Clark will be the likely winner for Galveston County Precinct 4 commissioner.
Galveston County is currently reporting that Clark has received 67.44% of the votes, or 4,501 votes as of 9:58 p.m. As of 9:58 p.m., 64 of 66 Galveston County polling locations are reporting.
Opponent Matt Robinson has currently received 32.56% of the votes, or 2,173 votes.
On March 1, Clark thanked his supporters during a call with Community Impact Newspaper.
“I’d like to thank my volunteers and supporters and any voters who supported me,” Clark said.
Clark also spoke on his top three priorities if elected in a previous Q&A with Community Impact Newspaper.
“Over the past 10 years, I've helped lead the charge in reducing the county's portion of resident's tax rate by 30% below the effective rate—delivering real tax cuts to taxpayers. My top priorities are to continue cutting tax rates while also pushing for appraisal reform at the state level; continue investing in regional and local flooding projects; and continue pushing for transportation and infrastructure enhancements to increase mobility within our county,” he said.

In the Republican primary election for Galveston County Precinct 4, early voting results show incumbent Ken Clark has the lead with 68.13% of the votes, according to data from Galveston County.
Ken Clark, incumbent for the district, has received 68.13% of the votes, or 3,035 votes, while fellow candidate Matt Robinson received 31.87% of the votes, or 1,420 votes. Clark has served Precinct 4 for the past 18 years.
There were no Democratic candidates on the ballot.
Galveston County Precinct 4 covers the communities of Friendswood, Dickinson and La Marque, among others.
