Clear Creek ISD is moving forward with $16.6 million in infrastructure improvements and priority repairs at six elementary schools, funded by the district’s 2023 bond.

The projects were approved during a Dec. 16 board meeting, and will take place at Brookwood, Ferguson, Hyde, North Pointe, Wedgewood and Ward elementary schools.

The upgrades include:
  • Brookwood Elementary: standing seam metal roof replacement, critical infrastructure and priority repairs
  • Ferguson Elementary: critical infrastructure and priority repairs
  • Hyde Elementary: vinyl wall finishes and priority repairs
  • North Pointe Elementary: vinyl wall finishes and priority repairs
  • Wedgewood Elementary: standing seam metal roof replacement, critical infrastructure and priority repairs
  • Ward Elementary: waterproofing, critical infrastructure and priority repairs

The $16.6 million will be distributed across the six elementary schools based on the project type, according to district documents.


What’s next?

Construction at Brookwood, Ferguson, Wedgewood and Ward for critical infrastructure and priority repairs will begin immediately, while projects at Hyde, North Pointe and roof repairs at select schools will begin at the start of summer break, according to district documents

Substantial completion dates are planned from late July to early August, according to district documents.
