As students in Clear Creek ISD prepare to return to school in August, the district has provided resources to help families get ready for the new school year.

The overview

Pre-K, kindergarten, sixth- and ninth-grade students will have their first day of school Aug. 12, and all other grades will have their first day of school Aug. 13, according to the district’s calendar.

Sixth- and ninth-grade students will have a full school day Aug. 12, and pre-K and kindergarten will only have a half day. Their first full day will be Aug. 13, the district’s calendar notes.

Pre-K, kindergarten, families new to CCISD, returning CCISD families and families interested in open enrollment—which is available to any student who resides outside of the district’s boundaries—can learn how to enroll through the district’s website. To schedule an appointment, parents and guardians can sign up here.

Also of note

Residency affidavits, which are to prove residency, are being accepted for grades one through 12 by appointment only from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

For pre-K and kindergarten, early registration residency affidavits began May 1. Parents and guardians must complete and notarize the affidavit packet and email it to [email protected]. To learn more about packets to submit, parents can visit the district’s website.
