Clear Creek ISD’s board of trustees approved a handful of vendors and contracts—including the Bayside Intermediate School driveway project, inspection services for life safety systems and a vendor for custodial equipment, among others—at its May 19 meeting.

The setup

Trustees approved a variety of vendors for the following services and equipment:
  • $200K for door hardware and security related equipment; services can be used through Aug. 31
  • $150K for custodial equipment; can be used through Aug. 31
  • $130K for web-based survey software Qualtrics, LLC for the district’s assessment and evaluation team to receive feedback, research methodologies and analytical information to meet the district’s education, cultural and financial objectives; can be used through June 30, 2026
All vendor approvals will be funded through CCISD’s general funds, and the door hardware and custodial equipment services will also be funded through the 2023 bond, according to district agenda documents.

What else?

CCISD’s trustees also approved the following contracts:
  • $2.2M contract renewal through May 31, 2026 for heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment, labor and supplies
  • $1.6M construction contract with construction company Generocity Services, Inc. for Bayside Intermediate driveway project, which is slated to be completed by July 31
  • $400K contract renewal through May 31, 2026 with fire protection service BMF Solutions and Firetron for inspection services for life safety systems
  • $192K contract with fire protection equipment supplier Firetron, for local sound systems at Mossman Elementary, Bayside Intermediate and Clear Falls High School
All contracts will be paid for through general funds. The HVAC equipment, Bayside Intermediate driveway project and local sound systems will also be paid for through the 2023 bond, district documents note.
