Students at San Jacinto College will be able to attain a four-year degree through the college’s recent partnership with Texas State University.

San Jacinto College signed a co-enrollment agreement on May 5 with Texas State University, according to a May 5 news release from the college.

The co-enrollment program will focus on business degrees, and students will be able to simultaneously enroll in classes at both San Jacinto College and Texas State University to earn college credit toward their associate and bachelor degrees, the news release notes.

While students will be enrolled at both the college and university, they will be able to take their classes at San Jacinto College, according to the news release.


The program is slated to begin in fall 2026, San Jacinto College Chancellor Brenda Hellyer said in the news release.
