The verdict
H-E-B awarded a total of $28,000 to educators and schools. Teachers were each presented with a $1,000 check for themselves and a $1,000 check for their school; counselors were each presented with a $1,000 check for themselves and a $1,500 check for their school; and principals each received a $1,000 check for themselves and a $2,500 check for their school, according to the release.
