Clear Creek ISD is expanding its tuition-based pre-K program to “any and all” families in the district, according to a news release from the district.

The overview

CCISD has a tuition-based pre-K program that had a limited number of spots, CCISD Communications Coordinator Sydney Hunt said in an email. The expansion will mean there are no set number of spots.

The program is available to families living within the district’s boundaries and have a student turning 4 years old either on or before Sept. 1. The program is $600 a month.

Those interested in applying can do so through the CCISD website, according to the release. The application window is open from Nov. 13 to Feb. 1. The application fee is $100.

The program will be offered at all CCISD campuses starting in fall 2024, according to the release. If a campus reaches capacity, the next-nearest school will be assigned.

The expansion of the pre-K program was part of the district’s Vision 2030, according to the release.

  • Who are foster children
  • Who have been in the conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services
The program provides “foundational learning” in language and literacy, math, science, social studies, fine arts, physical development and technology, according to the release.
