Jeff's Bagel run opened up a new spot in Clear Lake, which brings its total locations in the Greater Houston area to two.

The business has 30 shops spread across the country, officials said.

The Florida-based bagel chain serves coffee and an assortment of bagels, including asiago, blueberry, cinnamon sugar, garlic, poppy seed and sesame, among other bagel flavors, as well as spreads, including banana pudding, cake batter, strawberry and vegetable, among other spread flavors, as previously reported by Community Impact.

How we got here

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Jeff and Danielle Perera began running freshly baked bagels over to their friends and neighbors, according to the company's website. The demand for the bagel runs continued to grow until the couple opened up their first storefront in 2021, turning the home kitchen operation into a national franchise.

One more thing

Jeff’s Bagel Run is hosting a grand opening Sept. 5, where the first 100 customers will receive a free sticker and a coupon for a free bagel and spread to redeem on their next visit. Additionally, the first 50 customers who order a large iced beverage will receive a free koozie, according to a company representative.
