Westland Ranch, a single-family development in League City, broke ground on The Hayloft, a $5 million ranch-themed amenity center, on Feb. 8, according to a Feb. 8 news release from Forestar Group.

The details

The amenity center will be for the future residents of the 415-acre single-family development, located at 3108 Magnolia Pass Lane, League City, according to the release.

Westland Ranch held a grand opening in October, according to the development’s website.

The amenity center, located along Mudloon Parkway and Seville Lane, will feature:
  • A resort-style pool
  • A playground
  • Multipurpose fields for wiffle ball and pickleball
  • An event lawn
  • Covered space
  • Tractor and silo art installations
  • Walking trails

Officials with the development began selling homes in the community in late 2023. Builders within the community include D.R. Horton, Ashton Woods and K. Hovnanian Homes, which are selling homes starting in the mid-$300,000s.

Once complete, 970 homes are expected to be built in the community, according to the release.
