Soon residents of League City’s single-family development Westland Ranch will be able to enjoy a new amenity center.

On Feb. 8, developers will break ground on The Hayloft, Westland Ranch’s future community center, which is expected to cost $5 million, according to a Jan. 23 news release from Forestar Group.

The ranch-themed amenity center will include a resort-style pool, a playground, Wiffle ball and multipurpose fields, an event lawn, covered space with air-conditioned restrooms, shaded seating areas, tractor and silo art installations, pickleball courts, and walking trails, according to the news release.

Community Impact previously reported on the rapid growth of single-family communities in League City, including Westland Ranch.

Once fully developed, Westland Ranch will be home to approximately 970 families, according to the news release.
