Planet Fitness opened a new location in Dickinson on Dec. 28, according to a press release from the national gym brand. The Dickinson location adds to the dozens of locations Planet Fitness has in the Greater Houston area, according to the release.

The gym offers what officials call affordable gym memberships that includes classic exercise equipment, from machines to free weights, according to its website. It is famous for its "judgement-free zone" and aims to invite everyone, regardless of their exercise experience and knowledge.
