As part of the job fair notice, officials announced plans to move the resort's opening date up by more than three weeks to Aug. 7, according to the email blast.

The job fair will run from June 29-July 13 and will start at 9 a.m. each day, officials said. The plan is to hire more than 600 new employees. Positions to be hired include, but are not limited to:
- Lifeguards
- Engineering
- Kids’ entertainment
- Attractions
- Front desk
- Housekeeping
The resort’s new opening date is more than three weeks sooner than the original Aug. 29 date, which was previously reported by Community Impact.
It also marks the fourth time dating back to last year the resort has moved up its opening date, with previous dates being in September, October and November.

The job fair will take place at Bayway Village Shopping Mall, 2801 Gulf Freeway, Webster, with the fair starting at 9 a.m. each day, according to the email.
