Wellby Financial will host a grand opening for its new branch inside the H-E-B on Clear Lake City Boulevard in mid-May.

The ribbon cutting celebration takes place May 17 at 10 a.m., according to an email from the business. Branch staff will offer family activities and giveaways.

This full service Wellby Financial branch will offer banking services including checking, savings, credit card, loan lending and youth accounts. This location will not have a drive-thru service option.

Wellby Financial was founded in 1961 to serve the employees and families of NASA’s Johnson Space Center, according to a previously emailed statement from Wellby representatives.
