11,678 ballots cast during May 4 election early voting in Fort Bend County

The early voting period ended April 30, but residents still have one last day to cast ballots for the May 4 election.

Fort Bend County saw a 34.14% decrease in early voting turnout for the May election compared to the May elections last year. The county offered early voting opportunities at 24 locations from April 22-30.

Bush and Hobby airports to undergo $31 million restroom renovation project

George Bush Intercontinental Airport and William P. Hobby Airport will undergo restroom renovations totaling $31 million between the two, according to a May 1 news release from Houston Airports. IAH will have a $23 million phased renovation of restrooms, and Hobby Airport will have an $8 million phased renovation, according to the news release.
