Lake Conroe dam begins water releases; minor flood warnings issued for Montgomery County
Lake Conroe has been officially closed due to high lake levels, according to a news release sent out by the Montgomery County Precinct 1 Constable's Office and the San Jacinto River Authority. As of 8 p.m. April 29, the lake level was 202.84 feet, and the release from the Lake Conroe Dam had been increased to 12,490 cubic feet per second.
