After initial delays, The Bridge For Kids facility in Pasadena held a grand opening in February, according to a social media post from its parent organization, The Bridge Over Troubled Waters.

The site was set to open in 2023 but was delayed due to issues in obtaining needed materials, officials said in October.

That, combined with the holiday season, pushed plans back further, as officials toward the end of the year worked on the interior of the building.

The site is part of the Bridge’s overall goal to provide resources and support for those who are victims of domestic and sexual violence, according to the organization’s website.

The goal of the site is to help centralize the organization’s resources for children and provide a space for children from birth to age 18, according to a February press release from the organization.
