Chris Perkins, a former U.S. Navy specialist who spent time aboard the USS Guardian and the USS Warrior, has transitioned into the insurance industry.
Perkins—a Houstonian who earned his bachelor's degree from The University of Houston's Clear Lake campus in 2000—opened a branch of Brightway, StarTex Agency Insurance on Jan. 23.
“After more than a couple of decades working with Fortune 500 companies, I really feel like it is time to do what I’m best at here in my hometown,” Perkins said in a press release.
