The city of Grapevine is installing 1,500 linear feet of 12-inch PVC water lines on Hilltop Drive off North Dove Road. The new lines will replace 6-inch water lines that were installed in the 1950s, according to city officials. The road work has led to various lane closures on Hilltop Drive.
The city is paying for a portion of the work with federal money accounting for most of the cost.
