Trader Joe’s, which is celebrating its 10th year in Southlake, is undergoing renovations this summer.
What's happening?
According to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations, construction will start July 21 and conclude Sept. 1. The $750,000 project includes new refrigeration and freezer cases; refrigeration changing from gas to CO2; new checkout stands; and new fixtures/finishes in sales, restrooms and breakroom, according to the state document.
Nakia Rohde, the public relations manager for Trader Joe’s, said the renovations are a refresh of the store and done regularly at locations across the country to improve in-store experience for customers and crew members.
