Bibliobar celebrated its new location at its grand opening event Oct. 17.
The details
The locally owned downtown Plano bookstore, Bibliobar, reopened in a larger space. The new location offers a larger and more diverse selection of books, including a children's section, stationery, games and gifts, according to a news release.
Owner Chelsea Tresp said the new space will work toward becoming a "third space" for residents and visitors of Plano, with space for community events like craft nights, author talks, book clubs and parties.
Bibliobar started as a pop-up shop in 2017 before its first location opened in 2023, per previous reporting. The new location is in the same space as the former Lyla's Clothing and Gifts Plano location.
