More than 20,000 early voting ballots cast in Williamson County primary runoff election

Some 20,024 voters turned out to the polls early for the Williamson County primary runoff election, according to Williamson County election data.

Of the total, 14,589 were cast in person; 5,337 were cast by mail; and the remainder by provisional or limited ballots, data shows. This equates to a 6.38% voter turnout, it said.

The number of ballots cast is on par with the May 2018 primary runoff election in which the voter turnout was 6.34%, data shows.

Early voting was from June 29-July 10. Election Day is July 14.

There are three Democratic runoff races and no Republican races, Williamson County Elections Administrator Chris Davis said. The races are for a congressional seat, a railroad commissioner and a U.S. Senate race, he said.

Below are election day polling locations. Polls are open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Williamson County voters can cast ballots at any location in the county.
