Some 20,024 voters turned out to the polls early for the Williamson County primary runoff election, according to Williamson County election data.
Of the total, 14,589 were cast in person; 5,337 were cast by mail; and the remainder by provisional or limited ballots, data shows. This equates to a 6.38% voter turnout, it said.
The number of ballots cast is on par with the May 2018 primary runoff election in which the voter turnout was 6.34%, data shows.
Early voting was from June 29-July 10. Election Day is July 14.
