What would your top priorities be if elected?

My top priorities will be 1) to keep taxpayer dollars working at home, rather than sending them overseas to subsidize foreign governments, including Israel, 2) to overturn Citizens United and get corporate money out of US politics, and 3) to end the federal prohibition on THC.

What are the biggest challenges facing this district?

Short answer: data centers. Texas District 31 is being sold out to big tech corporations at an astonishing rate. Our local communities are being thrown under the bus as our land, our water, our energy grid, our public health, our roads, and local governance are written off as collateral damage.

What projects are most important for the U.S. Congress to focus on for the future of Texas?

Future prosperity for Texas demands infrastructure and energy modernization now. Congress is uniquely equipped to fund and streamline infrastructure and energy projects to ensure that Texas families and businesses are well connected and responsive to 21st century demands. The status quo of ERCOT price gauging for failing services is unacceptable.

What would your top priorities be if elected?

I grew up watching my parents drive from Leander to Fort Hood and then to Seton at 4:45 a.m. in one car. I will fight to lower healthcare costs, defend Social Security, and protect veterans' care, using my experience to push for seats on Homeland Security, Energy and Commerce, and Oversight.

What are the biggest challenges facing this district?

Families like mine are squeezed by stagnant wages against rising costs. That's housing, groceries, gas, and childcare. Congress can help by strengthening worker pay and protections, expanding housing assistance, and investing in transportation and infrastructure funding that actually reaches Central Texas communities.

What projects are most important for the U.S. Congress to focus on for the future of Texas?

As someone who's spent a career securing data and infrastructure, I know the threats are real. Congress must hold AI and Big Tech accountable with real privacy standards, protect our clean water and air from data center overreach, and safeguard the installations and veterans who anchor communities like ours.
