Incumbents Terry Cook and Valerie Covey will keep their seats as Williamson County Commissioners, according to unofficial results.
With all of the county’s precincts reporting, Precinct 1 Democratic candidate Cook took 57.78% of the votes. Her opponent Nikki Gonzales took 42.22% of the votes. A total of 51,640 ballots were cast where Cook took 29,840.
“Thank you to all the residents of Precinct 1,” Cook said. “I just love my job.”
Precinct 3 Republican candidate Valerie Covey beat out competitor Sharon Cummings 63.17% to 36.83%. Covey took 52,730 of 83,474 total votes.
