Construction for Georgetown ISD's 3rd high school set to start this spring

How we got here

In May, GISD voters approved a $649 million bond, spread across four propositions. Proposition A designated $597.4 million to capital improvements, school facilities, safety and security; Proposition B, which allocated $20.33 million to technology and technology infrastructure improvements; Proposition C, which allocated $27.85 million to fine arts facilities improvements; and Proposition D, which allocated $3.86 million to improvements to athletic facilities.

The high school is funded by the $597.4 million approved under Prop A, Vanicek said.
