Williamson County commissioners discussed allocating money in the county’s capital improvement plan to upcoming projects, such as the Juvenile Justice Center, at a March 31 meeting.

There is almost $17.9 million in the fiscal year 2025-26 CIP budget that has not yet been allocated, County Auditor Julie Kiley said at the meeting.
Commissioners suggested prioritizing current projects with the cash left over, including the remaining balance of the Juvenile Justice Center project, totaling $17.4 million. They voted to allocate $500,000 to an internal computer software project.
