Georgetown city leaders are seeking public input on the future direction of the city’s role in arts and culture at the inaugural event.
The come-and-go event will give attendees the opportunity to learn about the
wide-ranging art, music, theater and cultural opportunities, as well as an overview of the city’s study of the economic impact of arts and culture.
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in several sessions discussing the arts, including presentations by local arts groups and a professional development workshop focused on promotional tools and techniques for artists.
Children will also be able to participate in a Hands on History program presented by The Williamson Museum from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Children will learn about Valentine’s Day traditions and make their own vintage Valentines.

American Heart Association CPR and First Aid classes

Williamson County EMS will offer American Heart Association CPR and First Aid classes Feb. 11, at the Clinical Practices Building in Georgetown. The classes are open to anyone with a desire to learn how to save a life or act in a medical emergency.

Barbara Jordan exhibit
Feb. 9-10
The Texas Capitol is
remembering the notable politician’s legacy with a special exhibit for Black History Month. The exhibit is curated by the Barbara Jordan Freedom Foundation and highlights Jordan’s background, rise to elected office and lasting legacy.

International rugby at The Dell Diamond
