Project: Work crews will install 1,500 feet of 8-inch water main and 1,500 feet of 8-inch sewer main along the roadway between South Dooley Street and South Main Street in Grapevine. Following completion of the installation, crews will reconstruct Hudgins.
Update: Grapevine City Council approved a contract worth up to $660,000 with Fort Worth-based RUTS Construction during a July 21 meeting.

Ongoing projects
Project: PGA Parkway in Frisco will be constructed into a six-lane roadway from Preston Road to Coit Road.
Update: The project is under construction and expected to be completed later this year.
- Timeline: late 2024-fall 2026
- Cost: $31.1 million
- Funding sources: city of Frisco, external funding
Project: Work on FM 1938 in Keller includes converting the two-way left-turn lane into a 14-foot-wide raised median. At the intersections with median breaks, the median will be reduced to 2 feet wide, and a 12-foot-wide left-turn lane will be created. The project will be from Southlake Boulevard to Emerald Hills Way, and the lane configuration will not change. Additionally, the road from FM 1709 to Starnes Road will be reconstructed.
Update: The Keller portion of the work concluded in July, according to a Texas Department of Transportation spokesperson. The remainder of the work is in North Richland Hills.

Project: First Street in Prosper will be widened from a two-lane rural roadway to a four-lane divided suburban roadway from Dallas North Tollway to Coleman Street.
Update: First Street from Coleman Street to Church Street closed on Aug. 7 to allow for utility installation and is set to reopen on Aug. 11, according to town social media.

5. Bonnie Brae Street renovation
Project: Bonnie Brae Street in Denton will be upgraded to a median-divided, four-lane road with a 10-foot-wide walk-and bike trail and streetlights along both sides.
Update: Bonnie Brae Street closed on July 13 from West University Drive to Carril Al Lago Drive while crews demolish the existing southbound lanes, according to the city’s road closure report. The segment is scheduled to reopen on Sept. 11.
