The Little Gym of Frisco West is getting ready to open with a grand opening scheduled Aug. 31, location owner Jana Brittingham said.
The Little Gym is a national franchise offering noncompetitive gymnastics classes and imaginative play for children aged 4 months to 12 years old. Members are split into groups by age, Brittingham said:
- Age 4 months-3 years: parent-child classes
- Age 3-5 years: pre-kindergarten gymnastics classes
- Age 6+: grade-school gymnastics classes
Members can also attend summer camps and host birthday parties, according to The Little Gym’s website. Brittingham said she wanted to open a location in Frisco because the city is considered a family-oriented place to live and work.
“I just felt like bringing this to the community would be a great addition to the offerings,” she said.
