Roundup: See several coffee shops now open, coming soon to Prosper, Celina

In Prosper and Celina, five coffee shops have opened this year with three others slated to open soon.

1. 1418 Coffee

Two new 1418 Coffee locations opened in Celina this year. The locally-owned coffee chain offers handcrafted drinks, housemade cold brew and pastries made at its off-site bakery in Prosper.

2. Moka & Co.

The cafe’s menu features coffee blended with Yemeni spices, like mufawar made with cardamom and maleki made with honey and coffee husks.

3. Six Sips Coffee Co.

The coffee shop opened its second location at Rock Creek Church in February, co-owner Ashley Cotten said in an email. Cotten said the new location will have a slightly pared down menu from the main location, featuring pastries along with espresso and tea options.

4. 85C Bakery Cafe

The Taiwanese chain sells sweet breads, cakes, cookies and buns, according to the company’s website. 85C Bakery Cafe also offers tea, coffee, matcha and boba.

5. Dutch Bros Coffee

The drive-thru coffee chain serves specialty coffee, smoothies, energy drinks and more, according to the company’s website. A company representative declined to comment on the potential new location.

6. Summer Moon Coffee

The Texas-based chain serves coffee roasted in-house, according to the company’s website. Summer Moon’s menu features drinks made with Moon Milk, the cafe’s signature sweet cream.

7. Haraz Coffee House

Haraz Coffee House offers a variety of traditional drinks such as the Harazi Mufawar with coffee, cardamom and cream. The menu also features several espresso-based drinks, matcha, teas and coffee.
