After serving the North Texas area for a decade, Building Bridges Through Communication is open and seeing clients in a physical location, owner Megan Shull said.
Building Bridges is a holistic therapy service designed to bridge the gap in care for individuals with developmental or congenital disabilities who have aged out of pediatric care at 21 years old but are not considered geriatric.
“That’s why we are ‘Building Bridges,’” Shull said. “Our mission statement is to bridge the gap between pediatric and geriatric care.”
The organization’s primary clients are adults who are transitioning into adulthood after high school but Building Bridges has multiple younger clients as well, Shull said.
