Federal government ends $63.9M grant for Texas high-speed rail project connecting Dallas, Houston

The decision, which comes from an agreement with the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and Amtrak, effectively halts federal support for the project, originally led by Texas Central as a privately funded venture, according to a news release.
