More apartments will be under construction at Frisco’s Firefly Park later this year, according to a filing with the state.

Aurora, a 233 unit, high-rise apartment building, could go under construction as early as October, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing. However, a spokesperson for Wilks Development, which is behind the Firefly Park project, said construction may actually start in November.

There will also be 16,250 square feet of retail space and 450 parking spaces in the development.

The building will feature one- to three-bedroom apartments with amenities such as co-working and conference spaces, dog spa and fitness center.
