Separated by only a few miles, a North Texas triangle of developments—Legacy West in Plano, The Star in Frisco and Grandscape in The Colony—are expected to bring more than 80 new businesses by 2020.
Legacy West in early June held its grand opening celebration, and while some businesses are already open, many more will follow in the months to come. Grandscape, too, has had some major businesses open already, but many are still under construction.
Although The Ford Center at The Star, an indoor multiuse stadium, opened in fall 2016, the surrounding development is still under construction. The first pieces on the 91-acre property will begin to open in later this year.
Grandscape was announced in November 2011, anchored Nebraska Furniture Mart. New businesses started opening in Grandscape shortly after. Recently, development has shifted to the main lifestyle and shopping center portion of Grandscape, public relations manager Katie Rager said.
Here is a list of the retail stores and restaurants that are open in the three developments, along with a list of anticipated businesses openings.
