Summerween at Water Works Park
Denton Parks and Recreation will decorate Water Works Park with Halloween decor and host spooky vendors to celebrate the end of summer and the start of the Halloween season.
Live Music at Rubber Gloves Rehearsal Studios
Vancouver indie-pop quartet Meltt will perform at Rubber Gloves Rehearsal Studios. The band, which describes itself as alterna-psychedelic rock, is on tour to promote its third album, PATHWAYS.
Dog Days of Denton
The Denton Parks Foundation is hosting a dog-friendly pool party at the Civic Center Pool. Every ticket holder can bring up to two dogs to the party. Proceeds from the party will go to the Lily Cantu Inclusive Playground at North Lakes Park, which will be constructed at a later date.
Hand Lettering Workshop
Wildflower Art Studio will host a hand lettering art workshop where guests can learn block lettering and calligraphy. The studio will provide all required supplies.
Floral Watercolor Workshop
Head to the DIME Store in downtown Denton to learn to paint flowers with watercolors. The DIME Store will provide all required material and two glasses of wine, sparkling cider or sparkling water, along with a coupon for 10% at the store.
Texas Heat 5K and 10K
Hit the pavement with the Texas Heat foot race at the C.H. Collins Athletic Complex. The event offers a 5-kilometer race and a 10-kilometer race.
Open Mic Night
Head to Bramblitt’s Yellow Dog Art Bar and Gallery to check out local musicians at open mic night. The venue features a full service bar and offers artwork for sale.
Witchy Midnight Market
Bad Habits Music and Events on North Elm Street will host live music and vendors with a spooky vibe to lean into the Halloween season. The venue, which is attached to the Drippy Eyes Ink tattoo studio, will also offer $40 flash tattoos.
