Incumbent Capriglione keeps District 98 seat

With all precincts reporting, Rep. Giovanni Capriglione, R-Southlake, will serve another term as state representative for District 98 as he defeated Democrat opponent Maricela Sanchez Chibli with 65,166 of the votes, or 75.24 percent of the votes.

Chibli received 21,443 votes, or 24.76 percent of the votes.

Rep. Giovanni Capriglione, R-Southlake,  is leading the race for the state House of Representatives District 98 seat against Democrat Maricela Sanchez Chibli with 75.26 percent, or 54,006 of the early votes.

Chibli gathered 24.74 percent, or 17,749 of the early votes.
