1. Rockhill Parkway


Transportation updates Construction on Rockhill Parkway from CR 26 is expected to be complete this month.[/caption]

Construction is nearing completion as of February on Rockhill Parkway from CR 26 to Preston Road to construct a new six-lane divided concrete roadway. The road project includes paving, bridge construction, retaining walls, drainage, a water transmission line, lighting, landscaping and irrigation.


Timeline: 2014-March 2016
Project cost: $32.4 million
Funding sources: City of Frisco and Collin County



2. Roundabout at Intersection of Warren Parkway and Ohio Drive


The city of Frisco plans to work with the Texas Department of Transportation and the North Central Texas Council of Governments to modify the existing intersection as a multilane roundabout.


Timeline: 2017-TBD
Project Cost: $1.9 million
Funding sources: city of Frisco, TxDOT, NCTCOG



3. 4th Army Drive


Construction continues to construct a new two lane roadway from Lebanon Road to the existing driveway entrance to Stewart Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant.


Design is nearing completion to reconstruct the roadway from SCWTP to Timber Ridge Drive. The project consists of reconstructing the roadway with two lanes of concrete pavement with a curb and gutter and constructing a bridge structure over Stewart Creek.


Timeline: June (Lebanon Road to SCWTP), June-TBD (SCWTP to Timber Ridge Drive)
Project cost: $3.2 million (Lebanon Road to SCWTP), $8.6 million (SCWTP to Timber Ridge Drive)

4. Dallas Parkway


An additional lane will be added to the northbound and southbound frontage roads of Dallas Parkway and intersection improvements will done to the Warren Parkway/Dallas Parkway and Lebanon Road/Dallas Parkway intersections. Construction for the entire project will occur in three phases:


Phase 1 will widen the inner lanes and conduct intersection improvements at Warren Parkway and Lebanon Road. Phase 2 will widen the outer lanes. Phase 3 will replace the landscape and irrigation.


Timeline: January-September (Phase 1 and Phase 2), September-TBD (Phase 3)
Project costs: $8.2 million
Funding sources: city of Frisco, Collin County and TxDOT



5. Teel Parkway Extension


Construction is more than halfway complete to extend Teel Parkway from Stafford Middle School to Rockhill Parkway.


The extension will be a two-lane concrete roadway with a bridge over the floodplain. The project also includes adding drainage and lighting to the new part of the road.


Timeline: April 2015-June
Project Cost: $6.4 million
Funding sources: city of Frisco, Denton County

FM 423


Construction continues on FM 423 from Eldorado Parkway to US 380. The roadway is an existing two-lane asphalt roadway that will be replaced with a six-lane divided concrete roadway.


Timeline: October 2014-July 2018 (Frisco portion), October 2014-October 2017 (southern FM 423)
Cost: $28.4 million (Frisco portion), $57.9 million (southern FM 423)
