To meet the needs of the modern electric vehicle driver, Grapevine Mills has installed a Freedom Station electric vehicle charging station between Neiman Marcus Last Call and Saks Off Fifth.
According to a news release, the new fast-charging stations can recharge vehicles in less than 30 minutes.
"By adding fast charging stations for electric vehicles, we are ensuring a convenient and pleasant shopping experience for our customers," said Kerri Bear, regional director of marketing for The Mills. "These additions enhance and secure Grapevine Mills' reputation as a top destination for families to shop, dine and play while being energy efficient and environmentally conscious."
eVgo produces the station and also manufactures at-home vehicle charging systems.
The station is not free; users can purchase a "flex" plan with no contract for $1.50 per hour (more for direct current vehicles) or a contract plan for $14.95/month plus $0.10 per minute of charging for direct current vehicles.
