Richardson City Council approved $2.02 million of concrete repairs for sections of Renner Road, Belt Line Road, Melrose Road and Floyd Road during its Aug. 25 meeting.
The repairs will include removing existing pavement, performing full-depth concrete repairs where required and constructing new concrete pavement in the following areas:
- Melrose Road from Custer Road to US 75
- Renner Road from US 75 to Brand Road
- Belt Line Road from North Walton Street to North Plano Road
- Floyd Road from Belt Line Road to US 75
What else
Construction is set to start this month and is expected to be completed by next fall, according to council meeting documents.
Funding for the project is coming from the city’s Street Rehabilitation Fund.
