Jersey Mike’s Subs plans to open a new location at 205 S. Plano Road, Richardson, on April 28. The fast-casual restaurant offers fresh-sliced and fresh-grilled subs on freshly baked bread along with vegetables such as onions, lettuce and tomatoes and what is called The Juice—a combination of red wine vinegar and olive oil. In addition to subs, the franchise offers wraps, salads and cheesesteaks.

Franchise owners Cory Freeman and Shayne Shipman plan to hold a formal grand opening celebration and fundraiser once daily operations return to normal.

“Shayne and I could not be more excited to be a part of the Richardson community with our newest Jersey Mike’s,” Freeman said in a statement. “We hope to not only deliver delicious sandwiches but share our true commitment to contributing in and around the Richardson area. Shayne and I believe in a strong sense of community and the ability to do great things and help local schools and charities.”
