Construction work to improve North Texas Municipal Water District’s Shiloh Pump Station in Richardson will begin soon, a district representative said.

What’s being done

Improvements costing about $40 million include rehabilitation of the station and installing a second ground water storage tank at the site.

Once complete, the improvements will increase the capacity of the pump station to 75 million gallons per day.

Looking ahead

The project is currently estimated to be completed in summer 2028. Because the work is contained within the water district’s property, the only impact expected for nearby residents and businesses is occasional construction-related traffic to the site, which is located at 2602 Shiloh Road.
