With the May election fast approaching, here are several candidate forums and debates for Richardson City Council, Richardson ISD Board of Trustees and Plano ISD Board of Trustees.

Mayoral candidate debate

The University of Texas at Dallas will host a mayoral debate at the campus. The debate is organized by the UTD student government. Audience members can submit questions, which will be vetted by the debate’s moderator.

Richardson ISD District 5

The Richardson Chamber of Commerce will host a candidate forum for RISD candidates in Places 2 and Place 5 at the Richardson IQHQ. The forum will include opening statements, moderated questions and audience questions if time permits. The Richardson Chamber of Commerce will host a candidate forum for Richardson City Council candidates at the Richardson IQHQ. Participants include Mayor Bob Dubey and challenger Amir Omar and Mayor Pro Tem Arefin Shamsul and challenger Lisa Kupfer.
